Yandex appoints new CTO of search group, adtech unit – Telecompaper EN
Russian internet company Yandex appointed Aleksey Gusakov the CTO of its unit housing the search engine and advertising technologies. The unit covers also the Yandex Browser, Yandex.Maps, the voice assistant Alice and smart devices, as well as a development team working on generative AI models. Gusakov was already CTO for the search engine and has worked at Yandex since 2015. In his new role, he will work on taking a more unified approach to technology across the group.
