Newly-released information from Google revealed the most popular searches of the year, more specifically according to data counted from January 1 to November 27 in the United States. Among the trending news searches throughout the year, a generic term of “Texas school shooting” was ranked No. 7, coming in after searches like “election results,” “Queen Elizabeth passing,” “Ukraine,” and “Powerball numbers.”
Uvalde was also present under the search engine’s “how to help” top searches. While a number of the search items related to Ukraine, as well as the country’s refugees and army, inquiries on how to help the small Texas town of Uvalde was the No. 5 term for the section.
