Single-engine air tanker crash reported near Estes Park – The Denver Channel
ESTES PARK, Colo. — The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office confirms it’s investigating reports of a single-engine air tanker crash south of Estes Park.
The sheriff’s office said its office and other agencies are currently searching the area where the crash was reported, which is around the area of the Kruger Rock Fire currently burning about two and a half miles south of downtown Estes Park.
A Denver7 crew spotted a plane flying shortly after 6 p.m., however, it’s unclear if it’s the plane involved in the reported crash.
Law enforcement are asking people on the ground if they saw the plane as it crashed
