Rossen Reports: How to remove your personal information from Google – WPBF West Palm Beach

Google is taking it up a notch, making it even easier for you to remove your personal information from its search engine.

Things like email, phone number and even your home address can pop up when you search your name.

Rossen Reports gave you the step-by-step instructions (below) on how to fill out the form to request links that contain your information get removed from a Google search.

But since we aired the story, Google made it even easier with a new search tool.

Right in the search, if you see something that needs to be taken down, you will be able to request the removal as you’re looking at it. You won’t need to find the form, copy and paste the URL, etc. You’ll also be able to monitor the status of the removal request.

Google says the new addition will be available in the coming months in the Google App, and you’ll also be able to make removal requests by going to the three dots next to individual Google Search results.
