READY, FIRE, AIM: A Few Words from a Candidate Who Wears Plaid Shirts – Pagosa Daily Post

In case you hadn’t heard, the Colorado Avalanche hockey team won the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday. Denver will be hosting a parade today, and is expecting hundreds of thousands of people to turn out.

All of which has nothing at all to do with the topic I wanted to write about, which is plaid shirts.

Adam Frisch, a Democratic Party candidate for U.S. Congress in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, reportedly drove 1,900 miles over the past week, with his family in tow. He was also towing a trailer labeled with the words “BEAT BOEBERT BUGGY”. He visited 56 communities and ended up winning the Democratic Party spot on the November 2022 ballot.

He seems to have every intention of defeating incumbent Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, whom he has described as “a threat to our way of life and a threat to our Constitution.”

He’s also been quoted as saying he wants to “save our Democracy from a radical conspiracy nut” and that “Boebert is weak and going to lose.”
