Wagamama branch appears to have been stripped of its signage after its sudden disappearance from online delivery apps.

In place of its sign, a ‘To Let’ board has been erected instead. The restaurant, known for its Asian style cuisines had evaded our county for years, but excitement was sparked when the take-away only version of the restaurant opened in Preston earlier this year. We even gave it a try ourselves, to see what all the fuss was about.

The restaurant giant that typically resides in bigger cities like Manchester, so when it opened its first Lancashire branch in the form of a delivery kitchen in Preston, it created quite the buzz. Opening in March 2022, the specially designed delivery kitchen was launched on Blackpool Road and offered delivery services to areas including Penwortham, Ingol, Fulwood, Grimsargh, Samlesbury, Higher Walton and Lostock Hall.
