Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On July 27 at 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the Best Western located at 10820 Balls Ford Road in Manassas (20109) to investigate a ‘shots fired’ call.

The investigation revealed gunshots were heard before a dark-colored SUV fled the above area at a high rate of speed.

While checking the building, officers located a bullet fragment that struck the exterior wall of the hotel. Officers also located a shell casing in the parking lot.

No victims were located, and no additional property damage was reported.
