Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) said on Tuesday that it would integrate its recently announced artificial intelligence-powered Bing search engine into its Windows 11 operating system.
In a blog post, Microsoft (MSFT) said the update would bring the new version of Bing to desktop users’ search box, putting it directly into the taskbar.
“Soon hundreds of millions of Windows 11 users can get access to this incredible new technology to search, chat, answer questions and generate content from right on their Windows taskbar,” Microsoft wrote in the post.
Microsoft (MSFT) recently started rolling out its the functionality to desktop users of its Bing search engine.
Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft (MSFT) added in the post that the new search engine – which the company has had some problems with – is accessible to more than 1M people in 169 countries, despite the fact it is still in preview mode.
