Miami Dolphins 2023 NFL Draft options broken down on podcast – Palm Beach Post
For the second year in a row, the Miami Dolphins head into the NFL Draft without a first-round pick.
Also, for the second year in a row, the Dolphins have just four total picks.
However, unlike last year, when the Dolphins traded their pick to Kansas City for star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, this year they won’t have one because it was taken away by the NFL.
In fact, Miami not only lost its 2023 first-round pick, but also its 2024 third-round pick as punishment for tampering related to attempts to acquire quarterback Tom Brady and coach Sean Payton in 2019.
The league’s investigation found “tampering violations of unprecedented scope and severity.”
The Dolphins didn’t get Brady or Payton, making their efforts all for not.
