JPIMedia launches digital expansion with creation of 22 new jobs – Journalism News from HoldtheFrontPage – HoldtheFrontPage

More than 20 new jobs including senior editorial roles are being created in a regional publisher’s bid to expand its digital offering.

JPIMedia has unveiled four editor posts among 22 new jobs as it seeks to invest in areas including digital newsletters, search engine optimisation, trending news and football news.

Many of the roles are flexibly based, although some will be situated in Edinburgh, Leeds and Sheffield.

A newsletter editor, group SEO editor, football content editor and group live trending editor are among the roles being sought as part of the plan.

JPI group audience editor Steven Chisholm, pictured, told HTFP: “We’re investing in digital talent as we look to build on our audience growth, create the best content possible for our loyal audiences and develop the next phase of our digital strategy.
