Jetstar Welcomes Up To 700 Aspiring Cabin Crew Members on Board – Travel Wires
The low-cost airline is looking to hire up to 700 new cabin staff by the end the year in order to help it expand to new destinations, and improve its performance.
Nearly 40 ‘ground schools,’ or cabin crew training, will be held across the country in Melbourne, Sydney Cairns Gold Coast, Adelaide and Sydney to support new recruits.
The Qantas Group has a long-term goal to create 8,500 new operational positions over the next 10 years.
Jennifer Armor is Jetstar’s head of customer experience. She said that new recruits to Jetstar have a wealth of life experiences.
