Industry issues plea to help Ukrainian packaging professions – Packaging News

The industry is uniting to help Ukrainian packaging professionals find jobs in the UK.

The Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA), the On-Pack Recycling Label (OPRL), INCPEN and the Packaging Federation have linked-up with additional support from Packaging Innovations. The group have issued a plea for UK packaging producers to help create a website.

It is a month since Russia invaded the Ukraine with reports that around 10 million Ukrainians have been displaced.

Martin Kersh, executive director of the FPA said that in 2019 he saw first hand a “very highly skilled packaging sector operating to EU standards”. He is looking for expertise in website build, search engine optimisation and HR.
