The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has alerted

) customers about a new SMS fraud. According to the PIB Fact check tweet , “A message in circulation claiming that your @TheOfficialSBI account has been blocked is #FAKE #PIBFactCheck Do not respond to emails/SMS asking to share your personal or banking details. If you receive any such message, report immediately at [email protected]
According to the PIB warning, the message is: “Dear A/c holder SBI BANK documents has expired A/c will be blocked Now Click http://sbikvs.II Update by NetBanking.”
Individuals who have to raise any complaints can mail to [email protected] or call the cyber crime helpline number 1930 to report any cyber incident. Visit https://cybercrime.gov.in/ for more details.
Bank customers should mandatorily notify the bank of any changes to your contact number to ensure that you continue to get SMS notifications.
