Google users ‘horrified’ by what comes up after simple search term – Liverpool Echo
A mundane Google search term has left users astounded by its results when searching by image.
Twitter user Jason Pargin raised the issue in a tweet on Friday, which has since amassed thousands of retweets, quote tweets and likes. According to Jason, many users who search the seemingly innocuous term “desk ornament” via images are then shown rows of pictures containing Nazi memorabilia.
Jason said: “Question: Go to Google Image Search and look for “desk ornament.” Do you get a bunch of Nazi stuff as the top results?”.

Many Twitter users who replied to the tweet said they were experiencing the same results. The ECHO’s attempt at the image search also yielded the same imagery.
Some questioned what may have happened for these results to appear.
