Google Introduces Grammar Check Feature in Search – Fagen wasanni

Google has announced the addition of a grammar check feature in its search engine. Users can now include a note to “grammar check,” “grammar checker,” or “check grammar” when typing a sentence into the search bar. Google will provide a top result below sponsored posts that corrects simple mistakes and allows users to copy the corrected sentence to the clipboard. The feature is currently available only in English.

However, Google notes that its AI systems analyzing user text may not be 100% accurate, particularly with partial sentences. In tests, the grammar check showed some inaccuracies. For instance, when typing “Gramar check I tought I saw a putty cat,” Google’s search automatically changed it to “I thought I saw a pooty cat” and claimed it to be accurate.

Interestingly, the system seems to refuse to grammar check sentences with certain proper nouns. While it will grammar check a sentence with celebrity names like Tom Brady, it won’t check sentences with company names like…
