Google Displays The X Carousel In Search Less Frequently for News-Related Content – Digital Information World

A new report from Newzdash is talking about Google displaying the X carousel on Search less frequently when news-related material is involved.

The report delineated how the X carousel is displayed for nearly 12% of all the users’ queries generated on Search. When you compare to reports from the past, it was 27% for Google Search and as you can see, the drop is worth a mention.

As per Newzdash, Google adores X and there was a time when it used to love displaying Twitter carousels across all trending news topics. Now, that is going down big time.

As far as SERPs on Google Mobile are concerned, they went from 22% to 12% since the start of mid-April for all keywords that had to do with trending news in America. It is important to note that how Semrush would display a bigger fall in organic traffic going toward Twitter that arose from the search engine giant.
