1. Know your audience
If there’s only one thing you can focus on when giving a presentation, it should be knowing your audience.
Take a stand-up comedian for example. When they go to another city or country to perform, they take the time to learn about the location, culture, and likes and dislikes of the people in this area. It’s how they come up with jokes that really engage the audience no matter where they go.
