France’s meltygroup launches SVOD service with Alchimie – Digital TV Europe – Digital TV Europe

French youth and millennial-focused online entertainment news outfit meltygroup is launching a paid subscription offering with SVOD content, podcasts, and premium articles targeted at its 10 million monthly melty.fr website users.

The service, melty+, will be available for 4.99 Euros per month, with a promotional offering of 1.99 for the first month.

The subscription includes access to meltyTV VOD channels, co-edited with SVOD aggregator Alchimie, with over 50 hours of content spanning documentaries, exposés and films spanning approximately 200 videos produced by melty or selected from Alchimie’s premium content library.

Content will include news and reviews from cinema, television series, reality tv and video games alongside a ‘Society’ section focusing on the challenges faced by young people.

Shows on the service include Traceable, an exploration of consumer society and Narcos Andalousie, a report on drug trafficking in Spain alongside concerts from Adele and Ed Sheeran and the…
