Easy Furniture Web Tip #343: Everything Helps with Local SEO – Furniture World

DISCLAIMER: In the following article, please understand that at all times, I am excluding spammy, no-no SEO practices.

After working with web content and local SEO (search engine optimization) for over 15 years, I have come to a very unscientific, un-data-driven conclusion.

When it comes to local SEO, everything helps.

Over the years, I’ve heard this expert or that saying certain things are not important. I pay attention to those opinions but I don’t take them as Holy Writ.

On the other hand, experts will say this or that is important … and, again, they may or may not be right.

For example, experts say writing regular new content is important. True. But if the new content isn’t developed well and optimized well for search, you won’t get the results you wanted.

Still, any new page is better than nothing and might give you some benefit, if only because it gets you working in the right direction: That poorly developed page didn’t rank, so you work smarter on the next one.
