Droitwich Fire Station is hosting its ever-popular open day on Saturday, July 15.
The doors will be open from 11am until 3pm with displays and demonstrations running throughout the day.
Fire engine rides will be among the popular attractions at the Friar Street station as well as a chance to meet the Urban Search and Rescue team and dog Radar.
Droitwich boasts an ultra-heavy rescue fire engine, which can deal with building collapses and incidents involving large vehicles, and the crews can also tackle rope and water rescues.

Watch commander Shaun Moser said: “The open day was really popular last year and we hope it’s the same this time around.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to engage with the local community and for them to see what we do.
“I think it’s so popular because we try to do demonstrations that will excite the public and it is so varied here because we cover so many areas and skills at Droitwich.
