Is a battle of the bots brewing as beermakers tap artificial intelligence to write beer recipes?

Ever the experimenters, breweries in discerning craft beer markets such as Colorado and New England have introduced beer recipes without much of the human touch by asking ChatGPT or Chatsonic to do it for them.
Among Canadian breweries to give it a hi-tech whirl are Whistle Buoy of Vancouver Island and Grain Bin of Grande Prairie, Alta.
Grain Bin used ChatGPT to name Amber Waves of Grain after the app created the recipe. It also priced the beer.
Whistle Buoy brewed a hazy pale ale based on AI, including not just the recipe but its description and artwork as well. Whistle Buoy’s prompt to ChatGPT was, “We’re thinking to make a hazy pale ale, fluffy and tropical.
