Brave Search introduces AI chat function to “bridge the gap” – ReadWrite
The new tool will enable users to ask follow-up questions based on initial search terms, in addition to the AI-powered summaries that are returned with a search result.
This is similar to what is offered by Google, but Brave is going one step further with the option to launch a resourceful conversational search, going deeper as required with real-time data online.
Brave Search was launched to provide an alternative to market leader Google, providing a privacy-first option without browser activity being tracked or profiled.
The introduction of the AI chat mode will complement the ‘Answer with AI’ summaries that have appeared at the top of search results. This has proven to be a hit with users, generating more than 11 million responses daily.
