The new AI Trip Planner, announced today (27th June), is designed to assist you in finding the right accommodation and destinations in a conversational manner.
Booking.com’s CTO, Rob Francis says that the process is similar to how you might begin planning a vacation with your friends or partner.
The CEO of Booking.com, Glenn Fogel, told Euronews Travel that it would eventually provide the same benefits and services as a human travel agent. This was revealed at ETC’s Destination Europe Summit.
The tool, which is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT in part, will be launched as a beta on Booking.com on 28th June to a select group of US travellers.
