Aspiring to become a role model as a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession, Armstrong Teasdale LLP is pursuing a difficult-to-obtain DEI certification.
Achieving Mansfield Rule 6.0 certification requires dedication and a commitment to showing improvement. To become certified, a company must consider a pool of candidates that includes a minimum of 30% female, underrepresented racial or diverse sexual orientation for all leadership roles or partnership promotion.
But consideration alone won’t cut it. Companies are monitored quarterly and must show improvement in the DEI representation levels of their leadership teams, not just at the top level, but in committees as well.
