Apple Reportedly Working On Its Own Search Engine To Replace Google On iPhones – Indiatimes.com

WWDC is just around the corner and while most of us are excited to see what Apple’s bringing to the table with iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS 13, it might have a rather different weapon under its sleeve this year.

Leaksters and tipsters online are hinting that Apple could be working on its very own search engine. To the unaware, Apple is currently known to use Google as its primary search engine for its Siri as well as Safari browsing.

However, with Apple’s user base growing exponentially, Apple is considering dipping its toes into search engine territory, according to a series of tweets revealed by blogger Robert Scoble. He has also called this year’s WWDC as the most costly product launch of all time.

Oh, and a new search engine is coming too. Will Siri finally get “smart?” Hmmm.
