Android has a new logo – GadgetMatch

Since the introduction of Material Design (and its evolution, Material You), Android has thrived on a flatter design philosophy. Now, the popular operating system is returning the world of three dimensions — through its logo, at least. Google is giving its official Android logo a slight makeover.

Instead of a flat android head and a completely lowercase name, the new logo features a 3D android, a capitalized A, and a new font. Compared to the old logo, the 3D head does make the new branding pop amid the operating system’s flatter design.

To attentive Google followers, the new logo didn’t just debut. The brand already started using the new logo in new material. Plus, the company previously used the logo in this year’s events including CES 2023 and I/O 2023. However, they haven’t held a huge launch for the logo yet. Also, at those previous time, the “a” in the logo wasn’t capitalized, as is the case with the old logo.
